Via NZ Musician: "David Pine (Sneaky Feelings) has initiated country-wide meetings in a bid to pull together a professionally curated and managed archive for Flying Nun.

The aim is to cover audio, film/video, press, posters, artwork, merchandising, interesting correspondence and anything else available.

"We're taking an open approach to the meetings. Anyone who wants to come is welcome. I've started by contacting the label, its owners, the artists and the main archives (Alexander Turnbull, Hocken, Nga Taonga and Audioculture).

"But one thing we're discovering is that you just don't know who is holding stuff so I'm trying to get the word out to anyone who might be interested. ", says Pine.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, email the Flying Nun Archive Project.
