David Nesselhauf drops Afrokraut LP

Via Legere Recordings: "In his upcoming new album "Afrokraut" German producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist David Nesselhauf revisits a time in the 70s when innovative bands like Can were working on a rhythmic and experimental fusion of African music and German rock, which was labelled afro-kraut.

Nesselhauf’s modern take on “Afrokraut” goes beyond the standards of contemporary electronic, jazz, pop or club music. The album's first single “Come Along Bintang Bolong” is an irresistible Afrobeat burner featuring Amadou Bah.

David has behind him a diverse catalogue of albums ranging from electro to doom, was the bass player of funk celebrities Diazpora and collaborated on productions with Pee Wee Ellis, Lew Soloff (Blood, Sweat & Tears), Flo Mega or Faust."

“Afrokraut” is released on LP, limited edition CD and digital download on Légère Recordings, out Sept 30th.
